    Not sure where this should go on the forums here, but I think it's important that folks know about this.

    There's been uproar about this over on Slashdot. Truly evil software. I hope someone sues them bigtime and that Sony lose a lot of sales.

    "1337 g33k h4x0r speak" is what 12-year olds with computers speak. [​IMG]

    Mark Russinovich is a bona fide expert, so it would be more accurate to say "if you aren't interested in technical details, just skip directly to the conclusion". [​IMG]

    But yeah, lots of noise about this. Nasty programming techniques and inteptly implemented... Sony is going to be feeling the sting from this a while, methinks.

    I wouldn't knowingly purchase a copy protected CD either; but I could see myself overlooking a label. I really hate having these kinds of programs sucking up CPU cycles.
