    Hey everyone, first time poster.

I was a little confused about my projector and I was hoping someone here could provide me with some answers.

I have a sony VPL-PX11 projector.. I used it in the past for simply a composite feed from my vcr and to plug my laptop up to it. Now that I am settled I will be soon getting an HDTV box for my projector and I had 1 question.

Will a cable like this suffice for my component to RGB conversion?

Why can't you just use a component cable.

Also for $6.99 I would give it a try. Don't let the salesmen talk you into $125 cables.

    David,
There is no component input, there is only a svideo, composite and RGB input.
