Can anyone help me to clarify if it is possible to (cheaply as possible) connect my sony vph1252qm multiscan projector using RGBvh to my Onkyo 602 amp which only has component/svid/composite connections?
I have a hd stb with component, progressive scan dvd player with component, stereo video player not component, and a toshiba tecra s1 laptop with wifi and bluetooth which i would like to connect through the onkyo but want the best possible quality..
also a playstation which only has composite at present

I am looking for suggestions on how it would be possible to get hdtv quality (or highest possible to the pj..

Somebody suggested a compnent / rgb converter that supports 1080i for the pj part and a rgb / component convertor for the laptop solution.
any ideas on convertor manufacturers? links would be nice also ballpark prices....

I am a beginner so be nice to me!!

    confused of Perth.....

David, I answered your question previously, and referred you to the CRT forum, which is where you'll find all the answers you need.
