Sony STR-DN1000 Audio (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
Kinda new to the forum so please bare with me
I have my Sony STR-DN100o connected to my Panasonic Blu ray palyer via HDMI. While watching Distrect 9 whitch is dtsHD Master Audio, my reciever shows that its outputting Linear PCM 48 with my blu ray play set to PCM. When I set my blue ray player to bitstream the display says dts not dtsHD Master Audio like the manual says it is supposed to. I want to know if I am getting dtsHD or not or what am I doing wrong. Just what the best audio possible....

What is the model number of the Panasonic Blu-ray player. Some early players from certain manufacturers didn't bitstream DTS-HD at all.

its the BD 60. It does output dts-HD
