Sony STR-DE897 Owners- HELP w/Large/Small Speaker Settings (1 Viewer)

I am setting up this receiver for someone, yet when I try and change the speakers to 'small' from 'large', I cannot do so. The settings appear dimmed, and will not allow the change. Other settings that can be manipulated are brighter in the display.
It seems to be stuck in the 'Easy Set Up' mode, which may be affecting my ability to change things.
I don't have the manual, so any thoughts are appreciated...

I printed out the manual online- the receiver had to be re-initialized to it's factory settings. I was then able to adjust all parameters.
