How much is one of these worth? I am considering selling it. It has RF input for DD LD's. Also has inputs for a dvd player and optical digital output for recording to DAT or minidisc. It has 6 CH output to a reciever that is DD ready or w/out RF in.

Since it's not the Sony SDP-EP9ES that sold at $750 new.
But Sony sold a bunch at $199 from the outlets.
Your SONY SDP-E800 sold for $250 new.
The top end SDP-EP9ES now sells used at $300-$350
You can get about $100-$150
Keep in mind it's without dts.
And people also can use the Technics SH-AC500D with dts for
$100-$175 used. or the Technics SH-AC300 without dts for
$100 used.
just my $0.02

The thing that makes this little unit worth a few bucks is the demodulator. The DD decoding and the ability to add 4 digital inputs to your system are extra bonuses.
It is worth 175-225. Ive sold one on ebay for $275. I bought my current one for $185 (?).
The Technic units are similar but dont have a RF demodulator.
