Hmmm....I am just going down the list and by my memory here. Looks like NEW titles include

George Michael - Ladies and Gentlemen: The Best of George Michael
    David Sanchez - Coral
    Santana - The Best of
Simon & Garfunkel - The Best of
    Sade - The Best of
    Sade - Lovers Live
Leonard Cohen - Field Commender Cohen - Tour of 1979
Barbra Streisand - Timeless - Live In Concert
Dave Brubeck - Dave Digs Disney (US debut??)

I may have missed some. Most title aren't listed as hybrids. Some have the word "Unassigned" next to it. Some even have the word "Hold" next to it.

    Here's the
    link

Oh, even the Beyonce hybrid is listed.

Edit: Noticed the following new titles too

Richard Bona - Reverence. It says "Hold" next to the title.
    Janis Joplin - Pearl
    Jennifer Lopez - J. Lo
    2 more Oasis titles

Is that an update or just a page that Sony forgot to update?

All of the titles you have listed, when you select the buy option for the SACD, it takes you to the redbook CD. Maybe these were supposed to come out on SACD and were cancelled?

This has been out in the US for quite some time. However, when they recently remastered many of the Brubeck titles, this one did not get the treatment. Still the original CD version plagued with NR, and I would love a better release.

Even if they were releasing those titles, which I doubt, it wouldn't be much of a release schedule considering what they could release.

Yep, if it were true - it's still a very small drop in the bucket.

Although, I'd pick up S&G without hesitation... unless the price was outrageous.

But Lee, what of Justin's observation that these are apparently canceled SACDs listed on a long-forgotten/not updated page? Per his comments, clicking the links for the S&G and Santana greatest hits SACDs takes you to a SonyMusicStore.com page wherein the SACD is not listed in the pull down menu from which you select what format you want to buy. A quick check of a few titles shows that those that are available already (i.e., Titanic m.c., Dances With Wolves, etc.) have "SACD" listed in that pull down menu, but those that were announced and never came out have no SACD option in the pull down menu on the 'buy' page. No disrespect intended, Danny--as the page is yet another interesting example of Sony's poor and disorganized online presentation/marketing of the format--but this is hardly a "scoop" IMO.

    Paul,

Lee can't question positive SACD news, only the negative news. Nothing new here.
