    On advice from me a friend purchased this sub. He's new to Home theater, so most of the stuff he has purchased has come on my adivce. Anyway, he's never had a sub before, so I'm sure he'll love it. I'd like to give him the best possible sound however. I know you can fill the sub with polyfill, and i've done this with car subs i've built before. I'd like some advice from someone who's done it first before i attempt it though.

    The questions I have are:

    How much did you use?

    Where did you get the stuff (cheap wal-mart polyfill or more expensive stuff at an audio supply store?)

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Andrew;
    Parts Express has acoustic foam for $2.40. A 1.5" thick 24"x18", and 2.5" thick 25"x18" for $4.90.
    I don't know how it works as I still haven't received my WM40 yet.[IMG]
    I would be interested in hearing how your's turns out.

    Hmmm... Anyone?

    Mainly what I'm wondering is, is 1.5 lbs enough polyfill? And do you attach it to the sides of the box with a staple gun?

    Go to www.audioreview.com and read the Sony subwoofer reviews, I think some of the people have mentioned how to do this.
