The Specs sure weigh in the Sony's favor 20hz/120 watts 12"
    Subzero 40 hz/90 watts 8"

I second this. Have never heard the PSB, but have been running the Sony for almost a year now and have Kenwood "8 60w powered tube in the car. Repositioned the Sony recently to help eliminate gap between sub and L/R/C set to small, made a BIG difference. Also plan on picking a pound of the polyfill tomorrow for stuffing. Used the lobby scene from The Matrix to test the new arrangement after calibration; I can't picture that level of bass from an 8" sub. It may be possible, I don't know. What I do know is I plan to get a second Sony for even dispersement as I have an unusual layout (room longer than it is deep). Test both to see which you like, but it would take something with a big "V" or "SVS" on its chest to remove my Sony. Earthquakes also welcome [IMG]
