I have this sub and a couple of questions.

First, will filling it with polyfill attenuate base response at all? In other words, while filling it may tighten the base, will it not go as low or as loud?

Second, is filling the sub a major DIY type project, or is it something a DIY "moron" like myself can sit down and do without much trouble?

Definatly a moron project, I had no trouble at all. Unscrew some screwslift a driver, inset polyfill, replace driver, screw screws. Add finesse as required.

As for sound, it seemed to cut "boom and rumble", making the sub seem quieter a bit, but isn't cutting "boom and rumble" the point of the mod? In my opinion things sound much better, though maybe slightly less impressive for first time listeners who just want "loud".
