$400 for the PSP is pure speculation.

I have heard $249.

No details are likely from Sony until the TGS in September.

Why oh why did Nintendo choose a touch screen. Using a stylus for Metroid just sounds......Stupid. Oh well, what do you expect when it looks like they took the same mold of an early 80's Game and Watch, added some N64 graphics and came up with the DS title :thumbsdown: Boo-urns I say, boo-urns.

They "say" that DS is only a tentative title and the handheld might get a different name. And somewhere I read that this isn't the absolutely final model for the PSP.

In all, I'm happy with both. Sony's pushing the technological envelope while Nintendo pushes the innovative envelope. I think the price points will probably be the biggest reason why the DS will do better in the long run, but I'm interested in getting both.

I would like more details on those UMD discs and how the movies will work. Anyone else think they look like they come from blu-ray disc designs?
