Sony PS2 new model? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know when the new model of the PS2 is coming out? I read a few months ago, its suppose to have infared sensor for the remote control and progessive scan features. I"m not sure if there are other features included except those major ones I mentioned.

It's been out for awhile. I got one for my son for Christmas last year. The box has a yellow triangle with a plus sign in it.

What's the model number on the back of the ps2? What other features does it have? I think, Sony removed the i-link port.
