From the producers of This Is Spinal Tap comes TWENTY BUCKS, a "movie loaded with heart, soul and wit" (Jeff Craig, SIXTY SECOND PREVIEW), available on DVD July 5, 2005, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This multi-character comedy follows the path of a single twenty dollar bill in a city neighborhood, focusing on various holders and their intertwining stories, including two convenience store robbers, an estranged father and daughter and a young newlywed couple.

TWENTY BUCKS features performances by Linda Hunt (Academy Award® winner 1982, Year of Living Dangerously, Silverado), Elisabeth Shue (Academy Award® nominee Leaving Las Vegas, Cocktail), Brendan Fraser (The Mummy, George of the Jungle), Steve Buscemi (TV's "The Sopranos," Big Fish), Christopher Lloyd (TV's "Taxi", three-time Emmy Award winner), Spalding Gray, and recording artist Gladys Knight.

    Synopsis
TWENTY BUCKS is the story of one $20 bill, from its birth at an ATM to its final shredding at the bank, and the lives it touches along the way. Among those passing the buck are a prophetic bag lady (Linda Hunt), an about-to-marry-rich working stiff (Brendan Fraser), a New Age witch (Gladys Knight), a struggling writer (Elisabeth Shue), a distracted cop (William H. Macy), a well-mannered stick-up artist (Christopher Lloyd) and a hot-headed con man (Steve Buscemi). And while they may be strangers to each other, they do have one thing in common. When they passed the buck, they never expected change.
