Reuters reported that Sony have sold 200,000 units of Network Adapter for PlayStation 2 in US. Sony is planning to sell a total of 400,000 units by the end of the year. Right now 43% of the Network Adapter users connect to the Internet with 56K dialup connection, and 57% uses broadband connection.
Who would have thunk the dialup percentage for their network adapter would have been almost 50-50? I would have thought that dial-up users would have just avoided this, but that's just me.

wonder how many of those dialup users can't play because they're on AOL

Bet it's a double-digit percentage

Even though Sony's network is supposedly AOL compatible or runs accross AOL or something like that.
