    Hi,
I plan on purchasing a minidisc player this weekend, the Sony MZS1 model. I have compared models, and at my price point, I find it to be the best deal. http://www.minidisc-canada.com/mzs1.asp
One issue that keeps coming up is the software side of things. I've been hearing that people have been experiencing nothing but trouble with the OpenMG Jukebox software, when converting file types, etc.
Is there any substitute for this program? Is it really this buggy, or is it just rumor / exaggeration?
Any input would be most helpful.

I think that OpenMG sucks. I have had the MZN707 for 3 months and that has to be the worst thing about it. The problem I had with it was that it only allowed transfer of a file 3 times ever. After that, you had to have the original file to transfer it again. It sucks if you don't have enough space to archive everything. NERO 5.x.x.x will work better using Nero ImageDrive.
This explains how to use Nero and bypass the transfer limit.

If you don't have Nero for your computer already, then here is a way to get it supercheap
