Does anyone know if service menu manuals can be downloaded? I recently purchased the Sony KV-34HS420 tv. I would like to turn off the overscan, and tweek the picture a bit.

    Thank you Gregg.

I do not understand why manufacturers make it so difficult to get a great picture. I purchased this particular brand because I had read that it had one of the best possible. But Jack, your comment makes me a bit nervous.

Just be sure to write down the present settings before changing any of them- that way if you mess anything up, you can at least get it back to where it was before. I have a Mitsubishi (about 10 years old now, just waiting for the right HD set to come along) and figured out how to adjust it by trial and error. I've got it set for the least amount of overscan possible.

    Hey Gregg,

I never saw you had a service manual when you were tweaking my set [IMG].

My Panny 47x54 still looks awesome.

Don't regret the investment in ISF.

I will give you a call when I get another set or when the Panny needs a tune up.
