Sony KV-30HS420 Annoyance with HD programming. (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, I've had this TV for over 3 weeks and I love it. But one thing, sometimes when Im watching HDTV Programming (such as HDNet, DSCHD, HBOHD)..there is this annoying flicker. It's kind of hard to explain, but like the whole screen gets darker and suddenly gets light again. Once it starts happening, it does it like every few seconds. Once I see it happening, it becomes distracting. But this only happens with HD programming, is this a fault of the TV or the HD programming?

More than likely it's a problem with your cable box or Satellite box, or even the cabling between the box and the set. What is your source for HDTV and what type of connection are you using?

It is somewhat common for HD channels to occasionally drop out, go black for a second or so or get blocky pixellation from time to time, but not to have brightness variations on a regular basis as you describe.
