Sony KP53HS10 and 720p (1 Viewer)

How does this TV handle a 720p input into The HD video 5 input? Does it convert it to 480p or upconvert it to 1080i?

Nope is does not...but I have had mine for over a year and still love it.

Sorry about my earlier ramblings...I should not type and drink it's dangerous.

It can't accept a 720p source at all, but no matter as far as I'm concerned. My HD receiver, like most, converts 720p material to 1080i before passing it on to the display.
