sony kp-51H40 HDTV -- how do you use service menus? (1 Viewer)

Hi there,
I have the sony KP-51H40 HDTV and love the picture quality but am looking to make some more advanced adjustments to the picture quality.
I've heard that you can do a lot of this "IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" through the service menus.
Can someone impart their knowledge on how to get into the service menus and what you can do and adjust once you are in there?
I've heard that you can manually adjust convergence whereas outside the service menus you can opnly use the auto convergence.
