Sony KDL-46V2500 or Sony KDL-46XBR2?

I've read many things between these 2 lcd tv's and am stuck in the decision process. They both have what I really need: 1080P & 46"

I will be sitting 10' away from the TV & using it to watch a lot of SD (Timewarner), some HD (Timewarner) where I can, DVD, & Xbox 360 w/ VGA HD 1080P cable.

Help me choose one. Not sure if the XBR2 is worth the extra money.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

- Bravia Engine versus Bravia Engine Pro
- no DRC Multi-Function versus with DRC Multi-Function
- extra connectors (optical out, 3rd HDMI input, extra s-video) on the XBR2
- designer faceplates on the XBR2

Those are the main differences. If you are able to check either one in store, do so, the XBR2 has more adjustments than I will ever need and, apparently, the settings can be saved for each input. For the the ability to have a designer faceplate was what sealed the deal for me!

my brother is looking at these to screens...sooo basically is the price difference of 250-300 dollars the only difference SCREEN picture wise between the 2 (3 including the XBR3)???
