Sony Grand Wega 50" (1 Viewer)

My uncle just purchase this yesterday. Any opinions on this? I know it's LCD. I actually recommended him to go with a hHitachi or Toshiba RPTV to get more for his money and possibly get something bigger. THe Sony GW is $3999.

Personally I don't like the DRC feature. I got the very first 36xbr400 and the DRC makes regular TV look awful in my opinion, nothing but pixels.

I personally like this TV. It can be significantly improved from factory settings with user and service menu adjustments.
