I am about to purchase a new HD set. I have decided for my purpose I would be better suited with a 4:3 size screen(I know WS is the new thing but I can't stand stretching on 90% of what I watch). I have looked at a few TV's most of my research has been online and so far it seems as though the 36" SONY is the winner hands down. However, before I purchase I would like to no if there are any other 36" HD sets out there I should consider.

Panasonic and Toshiba make competitive 36" models for less money and fairly equivalent image quality.
