I've been looking up lots of Sony ES stuff at Crutchfield over the past few weeks, including the NS9000 DVD player, and I'm pretty sure the NS999 wasn't there a day or two ago. Today, however, if you just search for Sony ES or Sony DVD, the page for the NS9000 isn't shown anymore but the NS999 is: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&I=158DVP999E

Justin, actually, the 'NS999ES went up on Crutchfield's web site about a week ago. [IMG] The day it went up, the 'S9000ES disappeared, but it reappeared a few days later. Regardless, I have to think Crutchfield's supply of the 'S9000ES is dwindling since Sony has discontinued it.

Does the new one suffer from the chroma problem too?

Richard, I've been wondering that myself. Probably. [IMG] I have not read any reviews of the 'NS999ES here, and I've read just a few stray comments on the Hi-Rez Highway on Audio Asylum. Unfortunately, I don't recall reading anything about the video quality. Hopefully we will see some good reviews soon. I'd love to see the Secrets site do a thorough analysis.
