Sony DVD players? (1 Viewer)

I am thinking about buying the Sony DVD-NC675. Any opinions or suggestions about this unit. CC has them for $123 now. I would like to stay under $150.00

I tried punching in your unit here and this is what I came up with. I guess I'm going to have to assume this 685 is newer than the 675 you're looking at.

I don't know what kind of TV or gear you have whatsoever, but I'm convinced you probably could get more for you money, even at that price range, than that Sony player. Good, but not great, imho. Maybe consider the Pioneer 578? You'll have all high rez audio options going for you in addition to a pretty decent video player across the boards for about the same price.
