Sony DB840 Input/Output Question (1 Viewer)

Stupid question. I have a Sony DB840 receiver. If I plug my composite-only cable box into VIDEO2, will the video signal be sent out on the S-Video ports to the TV and my S-VHS VCR connected to VIDEO1?

The Sony won't convert composite to s-video or vice-versa. I run both composite & s-video from my 940 to the TV, and switch inputs on the TV based on the source.
