Hi friends,

I a very new to home theatre(meaning my knowledge is limited in HT)

I am planning to buy Sony DAV DX 375 which would cost me around $300 or less thro' some offer.

Please let me know the quality of this system. Is it worth?

Or if there is any other brand for this price range . do let me know.

Thanks in advance
Alex

Most HTIB systems are not worth the money. and are very limited on what the actually do and future ad-on's.

The actual wattage is way over exagerated.

You are always better buying everything separate. Starting with a Descent A/V Amp. Get the Best you Can afford.
I would always reccomend the Denon Line to anyone..

Then look at speakers and Subwoofers.

I never reccomend that anyone buys any HTIB systems, but if it's a price thing and you just can't wait it will "work", but you will end up spending more money down the road because you won't be satisfied with the system.

Agreed. I bought a Yamaha HTIB at Best Buy for $300 a few years ago, and I have NOTHING left of that system today.

Save money, buy an Onkyo or Denon, then speakers like homthtr said.
