I like what I hear about these units, what are the major differences between the two? my new reciever is a pioneer 49tx which has full base managment. does either of these two not have base managment? if they have it can anyone recomend a comparable sacd player without it? suggestions welcome

I know the 555 offers a rudimentary form of bass management, but you don't have to turn it on (if you wish to handle that in your 49tx).
You might consider having a player modded if you're trying to really maximize your $/peformance ratio.
