I have two of these players connected togeather, a cdp-cx400 and a cdp-cx455. I am moving and will be transporting the players with me. I have two questions:

First, how long can the player be unplugged until it loses the memory of all the programmed discs?

Second, is it necessary to take all of the discs out of the player when transporting it?

Thanks alot,
Ben

You should take the discs out, they recommend in the manual, cause they could get scratched or fall everywhere etc. And I think I read that if you leave the unit unplugged for a month, the memory resets. This is the case for my CDP-M333ES and I'm pretty sure it will be with you units as well.
