I went to tweeter today and I had a listen to all of their $1000/pair bookshelf speakers. I really liked the imageing and soundstage of these speakers the most. Has anyone auditioned or bought them and found something to be faulty? What are your impressions of these speakers?

I did the same thing a few months ago,but I prefered the VA Haydn a great deal more.I thought that the SFs were less effortless in the midrange,and they threw a less precise soundstage and a smaller one at that.However there are "tons" of other brands out there in that price range,I would include some of those in your listening list before make a purchase.
