Umm, I was just reading the new news peice on Planet Gamecube about new video's of SA2 for Cube. Anyways, they mentioned that the game had been downgraded to 30fps.

Is this true? This is the first I've heard of this. Was the DC version running at 60fps? And if so, why the hell can't the Gamecube version run at 60fps?

I think they just meant that the video footage of the game was running at 30 fps, and that "even with the compression and 30 fps downgrade it is obvious this port is visually more fluid" was comparing how the video clips looked to the actual game itself.

Believe me, this game would never be released if it was only running at 30 fps.

Heh, I went back to the site afterwords, and actually clicked on the link to the video's and it is indeed the vid's that are running at 30fps not the game.
I guess when I saw "downgrade to 30fps" I got a little scared and wasn't thinking clearly [IMG]
    Thanks for the clarification.
