I'm looking for something that will power on all my stuff when I turn on one thing. Example: If I turn on my Denon2802 my Sampson1000/Parasound855/Parasound2003 will turn on. I really don't mind switching them all on, but from time to time I fell like I'm reddening for a space shuttle launch. :)

I have a rotel line conditioner that also acts as a switch to turn everything else on. I can't remember the #, but it only costs under $200.

There are indeed line conditioners which also acts as a turn on controller. Rotel has it Monster Cable has Qed has it and I think that there are more manufacturors who has such equipment. Not only will they work as a line conditioner and turn on your equipment they will also turn on and off the equipment in the correct way.

Best regards

I was told SEARS has a power strip, that when one unit is turned on the other units power up. When the one unit is turned off other units power down.

check it out, I have never seen it.

If I can beat Andrew Pratt to the punch, HERE is his report on the Sears unit on another forum in which he is active.

Buy a programmable remote that allows you to set up power up macros. If you use switchable receptacles(X-10)or power strips they will be of little use with most modern equipment that uses electronic switching. You'll still need your remote or worse yet, you'll still have to walk over and push a button.

I'm using a Panamax MAX5100 as power conditioner and to turn on my amps (two high-current outlets for amps) and some other odds and ends (CD player, etc.). It uses the trigger signal from a receiver or pre/pro. I found it online for a little over $200 earlier this year.
