For some reason, the length for the first episode is only 20:00 long. The other episodes fall in the 25-26 minute range (some even longer). In fact, here are the lengths for each episode, for reference:

    Disc 1:

    1. Clarissa's Revenge (20:00)
    2. School Picture (25:39)
    3. No T.V. (25:36)
    4. Urge to Drive (25:34)
    5. Clarissa News Network (25:27)
    6. Haunted House (26:15)
    7. The Bully (25:51)

    Disc 2:

    8. New Addition (25:11)
    9. Brain Drain (26:04)
    10. Clarissa Makes a Cake (25:41)
    11. Parents Who Say No (25:43)
    12. Cool Dad (25:34)
    13. Sick Days (25:49)

I really hope it's one of those rare cases where they simply ran out of ideas for the episode, and it ended up being shorter than the others. 20:00 is rather short for an episode, even for today's standards. Perhaps someone here can clarify the issue for me.

Another thing to add...the original season 1 opener isn't used on the episodes on the DVD. Instead, the season 2 opener is used. But, for some reason, the last episode from season 1 has the proper intro, so I guess it's included...if you want to call it that. The theme song was always the same, so that isn't affected.
