Since we're in the days of HDTV here, this might be something rather fun to start....
Set up a widescreen HDTV camera somewhere on a crane on the beach. Lets also assume for the moment that your beach has a walk on boardwalk in the front of it, open beach looking to the left of that boardwalk, and an amusment park to the right of that boardwalk...
During the late night, and morning hours, the Camera would betrained on the beach itself. The sounds of the ocean and seagulls putting you to sleep, with a visual image to watch and enjoy. During the morning hours, you could watch the activity of the beach start to build, and then decide if it's worth going out there for the day or not...
During the day itself, the camera would be trained on the amusement boardwalk, with the sounds of the people and w aves crashning in the background... and finally, during the night, while your eating dinner, you could watch the fisherman getting their latest catch as the sun sets...
I'd like to call it 'Beach TV'....sort of a high tech version of the web cams some beach towns currently have running. It would cost $10's every two months
...
Anyone t hink people would subscribe to this for a first hand seat as to what it must be like to have a beaech front house?
