How small are the increments of the zoom compared to the Malata? No one seems to ever have a definitive answer on this question. Can it do small steps or is it only 1/2, 1/4, etc.?

    Thanks,

    mike.

I don't have the 500BK, but I do have a JVC XV-F85GD and I think the zoom is the same on both. Every time you press ZOOM it increments X 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024.
    Hope this helps.

    Mike,

What Walt said, I have the silver version of the 500, the 502. No small steps, just 2, 4, 8 ... etc.

Yeah ,what the other 2 guys said[IMG] It will zoom more then you need, really 1024x[IMG] ????? what on earth would you want to magnify that much?I've played around with my 502sl,and thats some serious zoomage[IMG] So how do you guys like em?
Its my 3rd DVD player ive had,and combined with the JVC 56 in RPTV it really kicks butt in progressive[IMG] For the $ I think its a real home run purchase.
