I got my German disc of TARANTULA today and it's in a standard blue color case, not the red one in Amazon's listing.

Certainly not a big deal, but I was a little disappointed.

Did anyone get a red case?

Look like PR, no one in "my" german forum got a red case, all blue.

I enjoyed watching Tarantula for the first time in widescreen format. I can't imagine ever watching it in 4:3 again. The widescreen cropping creates a better sense of tension and claustrophobia during certain scenes.

They included the 4:3 version on the disc too. I'm not sure why. I guess there are some folks who'd be upset at not having the TV version they've seen so much of over the years.

It would be nice to have the framing of the 1.85 version and the sharpness of the 1.33. :)
