I've been informed that Steven Soderbergh's acclaimed 1993 film 'KING OF THE HILL' is coming to Universal DVD this year as a Collector's Edition. No other details are known and no date was mentioned. This highly praised film which stars Jeroen Krabbe (Living Daylights, The Fugitive), Karen Allen (The Perfect Storm, Raiders of The Lost Ark), and child actor Jesse Bradford won loads of acclaim but sadly failed at the boxoffice. That said it is one of Soderbergh's finest films (IMHO) and was a reference laserdisc release. One can only hope that Universal pull out all the stops to make this a great DVD with tons of supplements. (Oh, and anamorphic!)
