this was brought up in another forum but it bears asking here...who would love to see this series on dvd? This might be the only tv series I would purchase on dvd if available.
I'd love this, too. Surprisingly, it is way down at 97th place in the voting over at TVShowsOnDVD, though. :frowning:
Anyone know if the rights-holder is still Columbia? If so, then we probably have to wait a while on this, for a while anyway. :frowning: They already have a number of projects going, as you know (All in the Family, Larry Sanders, Jeffersons, Sanford & Son), and hotter properties they can follow with. Also, although I would love to get Soap, I would personally prefer that Married With Children hit first.
I'm not sure I'd buy it, but I'd definitely like to see it. I watched this all the time in mid 80's reruns, but never saw how the series ended. I've always wondered if there was a wrap-up episode or if it was canceled without a proper ending being shot.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat! Soap is one of my all-time favorite TV shows. I have all 4 seasons taped on VHS (WGN ran the series at 1:30AM or some such several years ago) with only a couple episodes missing. I'd love to have this on DVD!!
It's been quite a while since I've seen it, but I do recall that there was a series wrap-up, although I seem to remember it being a somewhat unsatisfactory & frustrating wrap-up.
"Who are you?"
"The Stepbrothers,wheres the audition?"
"Audition? Here?"
"Oh,the auditions here, well lets hit it fellas"
One of the funniest things Iver ever seen.
This show was really great the first couple of years. I always thought Corinne was hot
