Believe it or not, Anthony Hopkins is who changed my primary tastes in movies. As a teen, there wasn't anything better than a good action flick with tons of violence and a generous amount of T&A (well, I still like the T&A 
). But the movies Shadowlands and Remains of the Day really opened my eyes to what a feast of the senses a great dialog driven film can produce. Don't get me wrong, I still love action films, but I'd rather sit and enjoy a great historical drama any day of the week.
Although, it's innaccurate to say that I've "stopped watching movies for fun". I guess my ideas about what IS fun have changed (T&A not withstanding).
