I demoed them a couple days ago at a nearby Fry's (they're stepping up their product selection) and was pretty impressed. MUCH appreciated from JBL as I didn't care for their Northridge series.

    Cool.

I just want to see them get the specs up on their site.

The new Project's (not as in low income [IMG] ) will be impressive, but disturbingly expensive I bet.

Interesting indeed. I've been a die hard studio line guy. I'll bet I like these new offerings.

Someone posted an article awhile back. I don't know if I'll spring for any of these, but it's good to see the S series back. I have a pair of S38s that are just sitting around, but I can't bring myself to sell them for sentimental and performance reasons. [IMG]

I checked the JBL page and found nothing about the Studio L series or the Project Array. So then I checked Onecall.Com (which used to have an extensive line of JBL products) and again found nothing on these new lines. Does anyone know who sells the new Studio L series (hopefully at competitive prices), and when JBL will have more information on their web pages?

    Thanks, Bill

I was just on the website and if you go to home audio products you can get to information on the array series.

I see what's left of the old Studio series on the JBL site, but not the Studio L.

Thanks! Those ultra high frequency drivers are intriguing...

A little bummer for me, no 8" low end driver bookshelf in the line.

I'll bet they are really great though, the dual 8" towers look mighty fine. My gal would kill me if I decided to change though. [IMG]

    Both new lines are up.

Wow, cool stuff. Looks cool. Big brute of a center is nice.

Still no dedicated bipole/dipole surrounds from them, hmmm...

So where is JBL Phil? I would have thought he would have been all over this...

I'm afraid the poor little guy couldn't handle two cool new lines coming out and he is incapacitated for the time being.

Has anyone heard the Project Array series yet (any of them)?

The Project Array's look absolutly spectacular - but I don't know if we will ever hear them.

Harman International is one of the biggest audio corporations in the world - yet their dealer support seems to be lacking - or APPEARS to be lacking.

I would think from a marketing perspective, these speakers would go after the Corvette Z06 or Ford GT crowd - not brand snobs, but want something that kicks total a$$, even if it sets them back a few bucks.

That Project Array series looks cool, but is anyone else surprised that they are only 88-90 dB sensitivity? I would expect more for a line w/ horn-loaded drivers.

Hmmmm, that does seem low - but I am sure there is a danm good reason for it!
