of an R1, and painted it to match mine. I still have some minor pinstripping to do on the fairings and the tank, but here it is 90% complete :b
and a pic of my bike for comparison.

I forgot to buy black paint :b so I haven't painted the rider and passenger seats yet, also there's some lower tank bits that need to be black.
the pin stripping takes forever so I've got time [IMG]
0-60 on the real thing is less than 3 seconds [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

That looks like it's coming along very well. I've got a Honda NR750 in my closet that's waiting to be built, seeing that makes me want to pull it out! Lots of hard work though. Check out the little Maisto models available at Wal*Mart and elsewhere.

I've seen those, I think the quality of the tamiya models is a little better.

I paid 9.99 plus shipping for this kit on ebay, so like 15$ total (and it came from taiwan)

one last pic and I'm done [IMG] I SWEAR.
all that's left is to paint the seats black and a couple of yamaha decals
    the pinstriping took FOREVER.

Thats awesome.. all my models (i work with cars though) end up with fingerprints of glue and the damn peices never fit properly! Damn Revell model kits... The japanese tamiya (?) kits are awesome, they fit great, and are very detailed, but most have no engines and cost alot...
