I'm in the market for a new receiver, but i don't need 6.1 (although i might miss DPL II). I was wondering if an old (but new) 3801 is still available at some place... and at what price do you think?

Checkout ecost.com for both receivers. I have the 3801 and love it.

Kevin then why would u want the 3801?
You would be better off with something like an onkyo.

HAHA, i'm sorry i made a typo. What i meant to say was that i didn't necessarily need DPII, although i would miss 6.1.
Well i have personal experience with this receiver in the past due to people that i know that have it. I want a reciever with the power it has, the quality it has, so i wouldn't mind buying a new one now even though the 3802 is out. I'm on a budget and require high quality, so i think this may be one way to satisfy both.
If i buy a 3801 now brand new, is the warranty still as long?
