So I'm watching Batmaina over the weekend, and they had some TV bumpers with Burt and Adam. One of the spots had Van Williams as a guest star. That of course got me thinking. . . .

Why it really, really sucks that Batman is tied up in rights hell, isnt the Green Hornet free and clear? Now its not as wacky and innovative as Batman was (and WAY more serious, as I seem to recall), it was still a fun show. Are there any stumbling blocks to putting that bad boy out on disc? Would the Batman/Hornet cross-over episodes cause problems?

True its no Batman, but I'm willing to settle for second best.

I'm not up on the latest details (and for older details do an HTF search; its been discussed before), but the answer was and - to my knowledge, anyway - still is "No, Green Hornet is not in the clear."
