I like Tracey Morgan. The only reason I watch SNL is in the hope that I will see a skit with him. He's been severely underused in SNL IMO. I will grant you that his stand up act is not that great but nonetheless, it isn't that bad. The man has alot of talent and I remember an article where Lorne Michaels said that Tracey Morgan was going to be the future of the show. He makes me laugh but everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Tracey Morgan, Will Ferrel and Horatio Sans are the best of the recent SNL casts in my opinion.

He is unfunny on the show. He's worse in the talk show appearances I've seen. I don't like how he acts like he knows he's funny.

I always laugh at Brian Fellows' Safari Planet, but it's OK if you don't. The one cast member who seems to always be trying the hardest without making me laugh is Chris Kattan.

i think tracy morgan is alright, he just needs to land himself in some better skits. i haven't seen him in any recurring roles other than brian fellow's safari planet, which was good for one episode, and one episode only...i'm brian fellow! [IMG] it's not painful yet, but just not funny anymore...

Ok. I'm really not a spelling Nazi, but this name is a little too close to home here.
It's TRACY! Not ...ey, just "y".
Tracy is the male way to spell the name. All others are female spellings. If there ever is a male named Tracey, Tracie, Traceiy, then their just plain WRONG!

Oh' and he sucks. A disgrace to the great name of Tracy. I do like his Starr Jones character..."Well I AM a lawyer, and I'm qualified to say that I could just slap that white bitch silly."[IMG]

    louis -

if i could take your post, enhance it to the 10th power, then somehow enhance that even more...that still wouldn't justify how much i agree with you.

I've found him mildly amusing a couple of times, but overall, I agree with Louis. He's definitely always got this "Hey, I'm being funny on TV!" air about him. Not that the rest of the SNL experience has ever been very immersive...

I love it when he bosses Lorne Michaels around. He cracks me up consistently. I don't really care for anyone else on the show these days...

The funniest thing Tracy Morgan has done is Astronaut Jones. Now that Will Ferrell is gone, my favorites are Tracy and Horatio Sanz.

I think Tracy is hilarious on SNL. He's even better as Spoonie Love on Crank Yankers.

I loved a skit he was on years ago entitled Wong and Owens: Ex-Pornstars, that cracked me up everytime.

I think Tracy is great too. He did an impersonation of Mike Tyson once, when he was first on the the show that had me rolling. I can't believe I've never seen him do it again. His skit as the bum in the sewer with Brittney Spears was a classic.
