I thought John was hilarious. Ranks up there with one of the best hosts of all time. This episode and the Jack Black episode proves that SNL can be funny when it wants to.

Or maybe that the strength of SNL's humour depends heavily on who's hosting? Or that naturally funny hosts (ie. comedians/talented actors) are better than ones who aren't (musicians/athletes/etc.)?

this was a good episode. I really hope jon stewart gets a bigger show than the daily show next year. Daily Show is great and stewart hilarious, he just needs to be exposed to more houses to catch on.
