In October I took advantage of Sears 0% Finance and No Payments for 12 months. Paid half of the Balance last month
and noticed on the Statement I received today, they slapped on a Finance Charge!!
Trying to get ahold of Customer Service is a trip !!
Beware of Special offers...... check your Statements !!

Let us know how this turns out. I buy a lot of stuff with these 0% offers. I make a spreadsheet in Excel and make sure that I will pay it off at least 2 weeks prior to the end of the promotional period date.

The sales consultants at Sears have to ring up 0% Financing manually. Sears doesn't automatically ring up your Big Screen(or whatever else qualifies) for the 0% Financing. Sometimes the sales consultants forget. For this reason, make sure to check your receipt and it will tell you whether they rang it up correctly.

If the receipt shows they rang it up for the 0% Financing, then Sears Credit made the mistake, and not the sales consultants.

Edit: Mainly, new consultants will forget. As opposed to, veteran ones.
