Somehow I cannot imagine the toddler set, to whom this Smurf shit appeals, gives a rat's ass about 4K HD. Waste of replication resources, in my opinion.

Regardless of your dislike for the film, I have to give Sony credit for supporting this with a 4K release. Your dismissal of the film doesn't mean it should not get the best treatment possible on disc.

The biggest omission I see here is that the 4K doesn't appear to have the 3D version in it which would break with Sony's past practice of including a ed copy.
