Can i use smps 12volts yellow wires for my yamaha v585 avr,connected smps to central home stablizer.

Can i use smps 12 volts wire output yellow wires for my yamaha v585 avr.
Will it protect surge and voltage fluctuations?
I have connected input of smps to my central home stablizer.
