Interesting. Any details on this one?
Will save my money and just wait for the 50th anniversary....
Hard to believe there were seven of these things in total.
Three were theatrical sequels, with more less the entire cast putting in an appearance now and then. The latter four were made-for-TV movies called Bandit Goes Country, Bandit Bandit, Beauty and the Bandit, and Bandit's Silver Angel.
"Bandit Bandit" is probably the laziest title anyone could ever come up with, other than something like "Jaws Jaws."
TORA! TORA! TORA!
This could be its own thread! I wonder how many films have repeated titles?
Rachel, Rachel!! (whew...I got it in!)
While we're on it, how about Wicked, Wicked?
Does New York, New York count?
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!
Loved the first two S&THB films but the third film was just atrocious and don't even get me started on those Brian Bloom mid-1990s films from Action Pack...wow were those bad!
I find the second one atrocious and love the third one, a Buford T. Justice tour de force! To each their own.
Blu-ray.com has a listing for this now. Thus far there is no indication of whether this is remastered.
I think I like looking at the posters more than most of the movies themselves...
Yes, these posters had awesome artwork. SATB3's art is my favorite, and far better than the movie it promoted (not that that's saying much).
Even the original laserdisc for the first film had the original poster artwork. A shame the Blu-Ray decided not to do that.
The first two are comedy gold and extremely funny. The third was a bad movie although Gleason was on fire.
If this is remastered I'll be up for 1 and 2.
My hat blew off, daddy...
Agreed. I would hope that a custom cover would be created using the original one sheet.
I would doubt this is a remaster. The original Blu-ray was fine.
