TVShows has a bit of news about the third season. Mainly this:


The source for the above also "guesses" on a September-December release date for the third box. Man, I hope so! I have three episodes to go with the current season, and I'm already feeling the wait for season three.

If the third box comes out that soon, it will go a long way to supporting the theory that those of us watching on DVD exclusively will be caught up in time for the fifth season.

It'd be cool if they would allow John Schneider on some of the commentaries. I've listened to a bit of his commentary on the Dukes pilot, and he does a fine job.

And anybody else notice that he seems to love talking like he's homosexual.

I really don't think they need Kristen K. to do any more she's very quiet and when she does talk, it's nothing interesting.

According to a thread over at the Kryptonsite.com forums, posters were handed out at San Diego Comic-Con two weeks ago that said..

"Coming this November to DVD.. Smallville: The Complete Third Season!"

Hopefully we'll get an official annoucement soon.
