I recently moved into a 2nd (our of third) floor apartment. I decided to get DirectTV over the local cable offering. I used pipe clamps to attach a pressure treated 4x4 to the corner of the railing and then mounted the dish to that. Now im in need of a small external antenna for my OTA reception. I would go with a internal but all my external walls are made of concrete.

I'd at least try the Zenith Silver Sensor, you can find them at Sears or Circuit City... I'm also on the 2nd floor of our 3 story condo, and I was able to pick up stations from Baltimore, about 50 miles away, using only the Silver Sensor with a Sony HD-200 (which may have helped, as it reportedly has an above-average OTA tuner).
